Let's Beat Breast Cancer!

A pineapple flower arrangement!?!? Yup, when that's what our recipient likes, that's what she gets! Well, that, along with a few exotic orchid plants, some cut ranunculus in glass tubes, mini eggplants and ferns. Yup, we know it's crazy, but isn't it soo cute too! We think so!

To our wonderful and brave arrangement recipient, you go girl and kick that cancer's ass! We'll be here supplying as many pineapple flower arrangements as you'd like!

de Young Museum, Bouquets To Arts Exhibit!

Fleur De Vie was proud to be invited to participate in the Bouquets To Arts exhibit for a second year! This year, we selected the painting, Knight's Valley from the Slopes of Mount St. Helena, 1873, Virgil Williams, American, 1830 - 1886.

Nordstrom, San Francisco Union Square

Here's a design that we did for Nordstrom, San Francisco Union Square! Orchids and baby pineapples with rolled aluminum wire.

Sam & Aimee's Wedding Slideshow!

Sam & Aimee are a wonderful couple that got married on the beach in Monterey! Aimee had a wonderful sense of style and we had air plants and monkey tails for boutonnieres, orange pin cushions, succulents and all sorts of funky goodness! I just loved how it all came together! Congratulations Sam & Aimee!

Laurie & David!

Oh Boy! David, you wanted some vegetable funkiness, and you got it! And, for the first time ever, Fleur De Vie used the color blocking technique. Laurie showed us a picture where the dinner tables had three different colored centerpieces, each with one colored flower. Well, we decided to do the same, just in one centerpiece, using orange, purple and green flowers. Oh, and it was our first time using tomatillos, soo soo cute! The people at our local produce store think we have produce fetish issues (I believe it started with the bloody mary celery arrangement (pictured below)). And, yes, sometimes, we do feel silly stacking heads of lettuce, and staring at eggplant for inspiration, but well, such is the price we pay for inspired and innovative exotic floral designs!
